8 weeks and 6 days Pregnant!

So I am 8 weeks almost 9 weeks pregnant haha!  I've been busy this week so getting a post in was quite the challenge.  I am posting my pictures from this point on in 2 week gaps, so the next picture will be at 10 weeks, 12, 14, and so on!  I think once we hit the mark in my third trimester where I visit the doctor more often, I will post pictures more often but for now this is how it will be.

We had our first appointment on Monday and we saw a nurse practitioner instead of my doctor.  I was notified that I will see my doctor every other visit so next visit it will be him. The nurse practitioner will stay the same too.  This first appointment was by far very different than when I had my first one with Graison.  For example, with Graison, my doctor was there & we went through how the appointments would go, he checked the size of my uterus, have me a Pap smear, let me listen to the heartbeat, he also whipped out his fancy little mini Doppler and I got to see Graison when he was a little nut and we had to draw blood samples.   This time, it was a nurse practitioner, and all I did was get a Pap smear and have blood drawn, I was anticipating that I would hear the heartbeat, but we didn't.  The NP didn't even size my uterus.

As far as ultrasound appointments go, I am sooooo confused!!  She was telling me how they put in the refferal and that the ultrasound place inland imaging would call me to set up an appointment.  Well, that stuff I already knew because of the first pregnancy, she only talked about the anatomy ultrasound at 20 weeks when they reveal the gender to us.  With Graison I had one ultra sound before that, that checked the exact measurements of the baby to better know a due day.  I know tricare our, insurance company, had some recent changes so maybe that's why all of this confusion is happening, haha!

UPDATE: as I finished writing about the ultrasound my OB office called to tell me results of some tests, but I also asked about the ultrasound thing and they said it would be just like before and that a referral was put in so Inland Imaging should be calling to set something up soon.

SOOOO, AS FOR SYMPTOMS....they've stayed the same.  Nausea is a little more intense but comes and goes, peeing is getting more progressive as it should haha!  I had some spotting one day but the doctor said if it stays the same and doesn't get worse or if it goes away then I am fine, sometimes it happens because your period was supposed to come at that time so it'd happen at 4, 8, & 12 weeks, but shouldn't continue after that, normally they only count 8 & 12 weeks cause 4 could be considered implantation bleedihg.  The exhaustion still sucks!  Still looking forward to more interesting things!

ANOTHER THING....I am not positive but I know it happens earlier in second and third pregnancies....BUT...I thought I have been feeling flutters the past few days, I'm not writing it off as that yet though, it could be gas but I haven't been gassy in a while so WHO KNOWS....but it would be awesome if that's what it was, flutters AAH!  8 weeks is when they start moving in the womb so it could be, normally with first pregnancies we don't notice anything until the baby is bigger, but maybe since this is my second pregnancy and my body already knows what that is, then maybe just maybe my flutters are FOR REALSIES!
